Club Meeting [CGC test]

Longtime member Kerry Southern has agreed to put on a CGC test
This will accomplish two things:
- People attending the meeting will see just what a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) test consists of and how dogs have to react to each situation in order to pass the test.
- Five lucky people who want to put their dog through the test will hopefully earn a CGC title for their dog that evening…cost is $15 per dog.
- Entrants should bring a brush with them
- Your dog’s AKC number will help with the paperwork People in the general public often ask what a CGC is — after watching this program, you’ll be able to describe it to them.
Kerry has been a Canine Good Citizen evaluator for many years and has conducted tests for the club periodically. For those dogs passing the test, there is paperwork to fill out that will be submitted to AKC, who will in turn forward a certificate to you for this title.
